Richly illustrated and documented, this special issue of the magazine of the Centre des monuments nationaux redraws the outline of what a historic garden is today, with its challenges, through the confrontation of the views of specialists, gardeners, botanists, historians and garden historians, architects and landscape designers... thus offering different views similar to a palimpsest of techniques, botany and prospective, thanks to this pooled knowledge.
